The accounting program at Elizabethtown College's School of Continuing and Professional Studies prepares you for the challenges and complexities in today's business world. The accounting curriculum—enriched with the College's liberal arts core—provides a solid foundation in accounting and business principles, and emphasizes technological, critical thinking and leadership skills.
The Bachelor of Science degree is accredited by the Middle States Association for Colleges and Secondary Schools and also meets Pennsylvania's educational requirements for the CPA exam.

Career Opportunities And Outlook
The Bureau of Labor Statistics from the Department of Labor reports that employment of accountants and auditors is expected to grow 16 percent from 2010 to 2020.
According to the BLS, most accountant and auditor positions require at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
